I want to thank all of you for your tremendous support and kindness throughout the campaign. I was humbled by the sheer extent of the numbers of people and amount of support received. I am disappointed that I will not be serving each of you on the School Board over the next four years but I will be looking for opportunities to serve in other ways. Participating in the election process was not something I necessarily wanted to do but I am glad to have done so if not just for the opportunity to meet many new friends and acquaintances and see the incredible strength of the community here in Douglas County. It will be important for each of us to remain active in letting the School Board know our thoughts and opinions as they govern the District. Please accept my sincere appreciation for each of you and all you have done over the past few months.
